Fahrenheit to Celsius formula
°C = (°F − 32) × 5/9
Subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit value, then multiply by 5/9. Temperature scales need an offset as well as a multiplier, which is why they cannot be converted with a single ratio the way length or weight can. To go the other way, use the celsius to fahrenheit converter.
